Introduction to high-density white fused alumina
The high-density fused white corundum produced by our company is made from high-quality alumina powder, which is melted at a temperature of over 2200℃ in an electric arc furnace. Through a special process, it generates fused white corundum with higher density than traditional white corundum. As a high-grade refractory material and abrasive tool, its main crystalline phase is α-Al2O3, and it is white in color. It is produced using a tilting electric arc furnace, crushed and shaped, magnetically separated to remove iron, and sieved into various particle sizes.
Main products: Barmac sand, double-roll sand, ball-milled shaped sand, segmented sand, P sand, F sand, and fine powder.
Scope of application
Refractory materials: High bulk density fused white corundum is the main raw material for producing high-grade monolithic and shaped refractory materials, widely used in steel, cement, ceramics, petrochemical and other industries. It is especially an ideal raw material for making monolithic refractory materials such as dry ramming mix for medium frequency furnaces, large ladle castables, medium-to-high grade iron runner castables, gunning materials, prefabricated parts, etc. It is also the main raw material for making corundum bricks, corundum & spinel bricks, corundum & mullite bricks, and various shaped products such as corundum crucibles.
Abrasives: These can be used to produce consolidated and coated abrasives, as well as wet or dry jet sandblasting. They are suitable for ultra-precision grinding and polishing in the crystal and electronics industries. They are also suitable for processing hardened steel, alloy steel, high-speed steel, high-carbon steel, and other materials with high hardness and tensile strength. They can also be used as contact media, insulators, and precision casting sand. The product particle size is produced according to international standards and various national standards, and can be processed according to user requirements.
