Introduction to brown corundum
The brown fused alumina produced by our company is characterized by high purity, good crystallization, strong fluidity, low linear expansion coefficient, and corrosion resistance. This product features non-detonation, non-pulverization, and non-cracking during application, making it an important raw material for the abrasives and refractory materials industries.
Introduction to brown corundum
The brown fused alumina produced by our company is primarily made from high-quality, loose bauxite, supplemented with carbon materials and iron filings. These three raw materials are refined, melted, and reduced in an electric arc furnace at temperatures exceeding 2250℃. Following this, a secondary refining process is conducted, and impurities are removed using a high-strength magnetic separator. The refractoriness of the product is above 1850℃.
Main products: Barmac sand, double-roll sand, ball-milled molding sand, segmented sand, P sand, fine powder, and micro powder.
Scope of application:
Abrasives and Abrasive Tools: grinding wheels, abrasive belts, sandpaper, emery cloth, cutting blades, sandblasting processes, grinding, wear-resistant flooring, water jet cutting, coated abrasives, bonded abrasives, etc.
Refractory materials: castables, refractory bricks, ramming materials, slide plates, nozzles, steel ladles, furnace lining materials, precision casting, etc.
