Refractory Materials for the Industry of aluminium metallurgy (Non-ferrous Metal) 
I. Main Aluminum Smelting Equipment and Refractory Material Selection
Aluminum Melting Furnace
Working lining: High-alumina bricks ((Al₂O₃ ≥75%) or non-stick alumina castable (anti-seepage castable).
Aluminum Flow Channel/Aluminum outlet: Silicon carbide bricks (resistance to aluminum liquid scour).
Insulation lining: Lightweight bricks or nanoporous insulation panels.
Reverberatory Furnace
Melting Pool: High-alumina bricks((Al₂O₃ ≥80%) or corundum-mullite bricks.
Non-working lining: Refractory fiber felt + clay insulation bricks.
Electric Induction Furnace
Furnace Lining: High-alumina castable ((Al₂O₃ ≥75%)or corundum dry vibrating mixes.
Coil Surrounding: Corundum castable or dry vibrating mixes. 
II. Corrosion Mechanism and Protection Technology
Aluminum liquid Penetration: Aluminum reacts with SiO₂to form a metamorphic layer (3SiO₂+ 4Al → 2(Al₂O₃ + 3Si), leading to peel off.
Protective Measures: Add an anti-seepage agent (such as a phosphate binder) to seal pores.
Our raw materials used: Tabular alumina, brown fused alumina, calcium hexaaluminate (CA6), fused mullite, sintered mullite, reactive alumina powder,  Fused calcium aluminate cement, bubble alumina, and dispersing alumina.
