Product Details

Product Overview

High-Alumina Type: A novel non-crystalline calcium aluminate product that accelerates the setting of Portland cement, promoting rapid setting and early strength in concrete and mortar.

High-Calcium Type: A novel non-crystalline calcium aluminate product that enhances the high-strength properties of Portland cement. When combined with anhydrous gypsum, it ensures early strength while delivering superior later strength.

Specialized for Shotcrete: A novel non-crystalline calcium aluminate product used as a dry powder setting accelerator for shotcrete.

Product Introduction

Non-crystalline calcium aluminate is a newly developed additive product by our company, designed to accelerate setting, promote hardening, induce expansion, and enable construction in low-temperature environments. It primarily functions within Portland cement (PO42.5/PO52.5). Appearance: Light gray-green powder. Its unique amorphous nature offers higher reactivity than crystalline products, achieving superior reaction efficiency. This product undergoes ultra-rapid reaction with gypsum and water (forming calcium aluminate hydrate). When appropriately added to Portland cement, initial setting occurs within one minute. This rapid setting and hardening effect, when the correct grade and dosage are used, allows for a wide adjustment range of setting time (2-60 minutes), while hardening strength can be achieved within hours (e.g., 2h, 30MPa). Additionally, the stable calcium aluminate structure provides excellent strength properties. It also induces volume expansion, creating prestress and shrinkage resistance, thereby imparting shrinkage compensation capabilities to the concrete.

Traditional Portland cement early-strength agents often compromise later strength development and cause strength decline. This product, however, delivers ideal early strength in Portland cement while minimally affecting later strength. It also exhibits excellent compatibility, working effectively with various Portland cements including those blended with slag, fly ash, pozzolan, limestone powder, and other admixtures.
